KT.Team office
in Togliatti

There are workplace standards that help us to be more productive.

Our focus is
to ensure healthy working conditions

— the right temperature, the right humidity, the right oxygen level, the right combination of background noise.
We proceed from the recommendations of doctors, nutritionists and other experts.

Office culture

Pimcore implementation in a manufacturing company - KT.team

From the point of view of the brain, thinking about careless wires or admiring your neighbor's bag is more energy efficient than thinking about more complex intellectual tasks. To ensure that your brain is not distracted by trifles, we inculcate a culture of conscious visual cleanliness in the office. Research by visual purity.

Approach

No visible personal items and clothes

The office has:
- wardrobe for outerwear and footwear;
- storage rooms for personal items;
- inserts between tables for items that are needed at work but are not used every day;
- hooks on backpack and bag tables.

Approach

No wires

We strive to make it possible to remove all wires into special niches. All flower stands have wire trays at the bottom, the shelves between the tables have space for folding laptop power supplies and extra wires.

Approach

Masking other visual noise with plants

More than 400 plants in the office are arranged to help you stay focused on passing colleagues and events in neighboring groups.

Approach

Healthy air

In our office, the air temperature, essential oil saturation, humidity, and the amount of carbon dioxide are controlled automatically and are consistent with SanPiN and other studies on the topic.

- The temperature in the office is 22-24 degrees
- Humidity 40-50%
- Carbon dioxide no more than 700ppm
Air conditioners are switched on during the hot season. If you are used to a cooler or hotter climate, please wear a sweater or use light clothing. Individual heaters are not allowed in the office, but there are common blankets.

Approach

Close to nature

There are about 100 Benjamin Ficuses in the office, 200 Zamioculcas, and 80 by Benedick Amstel King.
The average height of Zamioculcas plants is 110 cm, Ficus plants are 180 cm. The plants are raised 30cm above the ground. Thus, when walking between rows, you will see a green garden.

All zones are divided into 4 or 6 workplaces and are designed for work and for discussing small issues together. The zones are suitable for mentoring, pair programming and other group practices.

Approach

Attention to allergens

Ficus Benjamin has an antimicrobial effect, but the plant's essential oils contain the allergen k81 (laboratory blood test for allergen — IgE, k81) — if you have such an allergy, don't touch the leaves of these trees!

If you have food allergies, check the products individually. Shared meals in the kitchen may contain allergens, including nuts, lactose products, and more.

Approach

Healthy eating

At the office, we minimize sugar and use organic coffee (coffee is one of the most pesticide-sprayed plants in the world).
We strive to keep office products low glycemic and insulin indices. Product tables by glycemic indices.
A high glycemic index accelerates brain aging. We care about your health.

Let's start with a myth. There are no orthopedic chairs! )

Approach

Furniture

The most orthopedic chair is an ordinary chair. All our seats are adjustable in height and backrest, but the correct body position is like at a school desk.
If you have back pain, train your muscular corset. The more the chair relieves stress on your back, the more your back muscles atrophy. The more they are atrophied, the sooner you'll start having back problems.

Approach

Hardware

Computer equipment standards are determined by the supply department and are based on studies on labor efficiency (the level of cognitive, visual and other loads).

Approach

Workspace

Each work area is a closed group space within the office. The group space is protected from other groups by plants.

Open space culture

Open space is a controversial place to work. On the one hand, there is nothing more democratic and adapted to collaboration; on the other hand, there is one high-profile person, and everyone was distracted to the point.

Therefore, we would like to ask you two things:
1. If someone forgot and is too loud, throw a paper/sticker at them (Igor Mann recommends).
2. If someone threw a piece of paper at you, take it with humor and be quiet.

We tried to make sure that there were no passageways, but we still ask you to choose routes within the office that minimize access between groups of people.

Despite the fact that there are hostesses in our office, we kindly ask you to show respect to your colleagues and clean up after yourself in any case (including adding water and grains to the coffee machine, keeping sinks and toilets clean after you, and not wearing dirty shoes or clothes outside the wardrobe).

The office must be quiet. Consider that the rules here are the same as the library. Let us list some of them:
1. Do not speak while standing — sit on a chair next to the person you are talking to. By standing up, you come to other people's attention and distract their attention, reducing the amount of their thought fuel. Plus, you can be heard better this way.
2. Don't talk or laugh out loud. If your voice is low or loud, speak in a whisper.
3. Switch your phone to silent mode. If possible, reduce the intensity of vibration — sometimes it interferes with colleagues as much as ringtones and other sound notifications. Ideally, don't keep your smartphone nearby, it impairs your thinking. Learn more.
4. When in the office, make sure that headphones are connected to your laptop at all times.
5. Use guest chairs (black without wheels) if you want to sit down with someone. The office also has special microstools — these are not footstands, they are Satellites.

Exercise concept

Learn more about Pimcore's PIM, DAM, MDM capabilities - KT.team

Only physical activity and constant walks can maintain your health. A person should walk at least 20 minutes. We do not encourage marketing gimmicks (for example, furniture manufacturers call many chairs “orthopedic”, but only a muscular corset will preserve your posture).

It is important to adjust the chair correctly — that is, so that your knees and elbows are bent at right angles.

The office has space for exercise, telescopic tables for standing work and meetings, and marker walls encourage you to discuss projects while standing.

If you want to take a walk, there is a coffee point near the office, which is 440 meters away (5 minutes).

Bicycle parking, protected from rain and strangers, allows you to comfortably use bicycles from early spring to late autumn.

There is a gym in the office and it is equipped with:
- fitness and aerobics equipment;
- exercise bike;
- a treadmill;
- weight training equipment, etc.
