Product categories
The seasonal turnover of the Snow Queen website's product collections required constant updates to the Main Product Category and subsequent transfer to the Outlet category.
By default, PIM only allows changing the category of a single specific product.
The PIM enhancements made it possible to add, move, and remove products in specific categories. As a result, the next seasonal change became much faster.
Product category statuses
By default, PIM does not support displaying category status.
Our developers implemented the ability to manage category status, with data sent directly to Magento.
The client wanted PIM to display the visibility status of product categories, with the option to change it.
Mapping tables
The client used KAIS for internal access to product information. This system made editing information more difficult because it displayed data in technical language.
When integrating KAIS data with PIM, our developers added an algorithm that made it possible to translate the numeric and letter SKU format into language that the online store could use.
Product associations
Integrating the online store with PIM made it possible for one product to be linked to products from other categories.
As a result, the Look product category helped sell several products at once, not just one.

Website photo content
By default, PIM supports uploading only one photo.
Our developers made it possible to upload and download photos in bulk for further processing, and to specify in PIM which product photo would be the main image on the site and which would be shown on hover.
Product availability by city
By integrating PIM with Elastic, our developers made it possible to display product availability by city in PIM.
The client wanted the product status to be visible in PIM - in stock or out of stock.
