An online store selling auto parts wholesale and retail for foreign and domestic cars.
Challenge
The client worked in a custom ERP that had no way to store and keep product marketing data up to date. In addition, the customer wanted a system that could track both quantitative and qualitative performance metrics for content managers.
Solution
- Pimcore integration from scratch.
- Import enhancements: dynamic creation of elements during import when they are missing (car makes, categories, attribute selector options).
- Integration with the website and ERP.
- Saving and displaying a table of the full user activity history.
- Creation of custom reports on the number of changed objects and added attributes, including user details, filtering by date / object class, a chart, and the ability to download the report as an Excel spreadsheet.
- Development of an object archiving mechanism.
- Implementation of additional image import methods from external sources according to defined logic.
- Implementation of the custom Pimcore operation "Object Archiving."
