Our clients
PWA (progressive web app) is a website that functions like a mobile app: opens via search or ad links, installs on the home screen without App Store or Google Play, works offline, and sends push notifications.
We develop PWA apps end-to-end: audit current frontend, design mobile scenarios, integrate PWA with CRM, ERP, 1C, and PIM, and provide post-launch support.
One codebase covers web, iOS, and Android — no need to maintain three parallel development efforts.
To compare PWA with other approaches first, start with this overview PWA for Business - below covers full-cycle development
User adds app to home screen directly from the site — no app stores, moderation, or review wait.
One team and one release cycle for web, iOS, and Android instead of three parallel processes.
Service workers cache the catalog and cart: the app opens with unreliable connections and offline.
User retention without SMS or email; on iOS, web-push is supported from version 16.4.
PWA is website pages: content is indexed, and search traffic converts to app installations.
New version is delivered as a regular site update — available to all users instantly without prompting users to update the app.
PWA doesn't replace native development in all scenarios. The choice depends on where your audience comes from and what device access your product requires.
| Criterion | PWA | Native Application |
|---|---|---|
| Installation | via link from site, one tap | via App Store / Google Play |
| Codebase | one for web, iOS, and Android | separate for each platform |
| Updates | instantly, like website publication | through app store review |
| SEO and Organic Search Traffic | indexed as a website | not indexed |
| Device Access | camera, geolocation, payments | full: Bluetooth, NFC, background processes |
| Push notifications | Available; on iOS — from version 16.4, with limitations | unlimited |
| Support cost | one release cycle | two to three parallel cycles |
We review your current site or store, speed and conversion metrics, and determine what PWA frontend will deliver to your specific scenario.
We design mobile scenarios: catalog, cart, checkout, home screen installation, offline mode.
We build the PWA frontend and integrate it with your systems: CRM, ERP, 1C, PIM, payment services.
We deploy to production, set up analytics, and support the app post-launch.

Testimonials
The Muztorg group of companies has been working successfully with the KT.Team team for more than two years. The high professionalism of our partners helps us a great deal, as does their ability to combine well-structured project management with minimal formal constraints. I would especially like to note the friendliness and openness of the KT.Team staff.
The best — both the developers and the management, and the owners are in a league of their own! What was done at Snow Queen would have taken other companies 10 times longer. And thank you for assessing development sensibly and not stretching out the timelines.
After several years of joint, productive work, I want to thank our colleagues at KT.Team. Together we have come a long way, solved thousands of tasks, survived 3 Black Fridays already, and developed and successfully launched several large projects estimated at more than 2,000 person-hours. Both I and the company's management are pleased with our collaboration.
Before KT we had another contractor — a large, well-known integrator — and every change was expensive and painful. We even considered abandoning Magento altogether! kt.team took on a huge amount of work. A great team!
We have been working with kt.team for more than a year, and in that time we have come a long way — from quickly launching a small website to an introductory catalog and several integrations. The team responded promptly to our requests and additions to the specification; together we tested several hypotheses and chose the ones that worked best. None of this prevented us from jointly creating a project with a modern design and functionality convenient both for users and for Maxxium employees.
On behalf of Inventive Retail Group, I express my deep gratitude to the KT.Team team for the productive collaboration on a new, ambitious project. We would like to note the high level of engagement at every stage of its implementation, as well as the professionalism and personal qualities of everyone involved in the project.
FAQ
PWA is a website with app capabilities: home screen installation, offline mode, and push notifications. It opens via a link and requires no app store. Native apps are built separately for iOS and Android and distributed through app stores. Can PWA be published in app stores? Google Play does: via Trusted Web Activity, the same PWA is published as an Android app without a separate codebase.
App Store has no direct PWA publishing: on iOS, users install PWA from Safari to their home screen. Do push notifications work on iPhone? Yes: Safari supports web-push from iOS 16.4 for PWAs added to home screen. Platform limitations remain; if push is key for your iOS audience, we'll discuss native development as an option. How long does PWA development take? Depends on integration scope and catalog size. From our experience: we launched the RAEK PWA platform MVP in 3 months.
We finalize the detailed plan with phases after the audit. Can PWA be added to an existing e-commerce platform? Yes: PWA frontend runs on top of an existing backend without replacing it. For La Nature, we implemented PWA frontend for Magento 2, preserving integrations with CRM and ERP—Bitrix24 and 1C:UT. How much does PWA development cost? We estimate after audit: scope depends on the number of integrations and catalog complexity. We measure the impact on speed, conversion, and support cost, not just hours.
