Talend 7.3: paid extended support ends in December 2026

Mainstream support for Talend 7.3 ends on November 30, 2024. Purchased extended support runs through December 2026 with no renewal option; it covers only Severity 1 issues and excludes fixes for unsupported third-party components. The only migration path is Talend 8 or Qlik Talend Cloud.

R2026-05: AWS Bedrock and Google Gemini connectors in Studio

The monthly release added native components for AWS Bedrock and Google Gemini, enabling direct LLM provider integration in ETL jobs without custom code. It also adds transactional mode for tKafkaOutput and GA for Databricks 17.3.

Studio moves from Java 17 to Java 21 in the 2026-06 release

Starting with the 2026-06 release, Talend Studio requires Java 21. This affects only the desktop application; jobs and services themselves remain on Java 17 (Big Data Jobs on Java 8). Runtime (Remote/Cloud/Dynamic Engines, Job Server) will support Java 21 as an option, while Java 17 remains the default.
